If you are traveling to Gambia, you are not going to want to miss, the Fajara Club. The club is home to a great 18 hole, par 69, golf course. The course is open to green-fee players which you can pay for per day or per week. You are going to want to be sure to exchange your currency for Dalasis, as this is all the course accepts. At the course you are able to hire caddies, rent brown-sweepers (as the “greens” are made of packed oil and sand), rent clubs, and purchase balls.
If you are bringing the family along, and they are not into golf, the club is a great place to watch the birds and other wildlife that may creep in. The course also has a swimming pool, tennis, squash, and a great informal bar and restaurant.
The Fajara Club
The club's Golf Course section is an 18 hole par 69 golf course which is unusually placed next to the beach and its greens are more a lighter shade of brown during the dry season. It measures approximately 4,700 metres and tournaments are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Membership fees are around £200 per year and the minimum age to join is 16 with a handicap. Tourists visitors are welcome to play for a fee.

This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
